Joshua Scott is a certified Addiction Interventionist who has a proven record of designing and implementing intervention strategies for individuals suffering from alcohol and drug dependence, eating disorders, as well as individuals with gambling and sex addictions. Joshua is the founder of Guardian Interventions and has assembled a team of Interventionists and has conducted more than 400 successful interventions. Residing in South Florida, he travels and works throughout the United States.

Joshua has direct experience with the pain created by addiction in both the individual and his or her entire family. Recovery while critically important for the addict, is just as important for the family itself. Working closely with the family to halt the addiction patterns, Joshua provides the solution of recovery to the individual in a manner they finally feel is an opportunity and not a punishment. Without such intervention many go on to face progressively dire consequences, crises and even death.

Joshua has extensive experience on both sides of the addiction and recovery continuum. Struggling with drugs and alcohol for almost a decade, Joshua was fortunate enough to enter a treatment center in South Florida in September of 2000. Grateful for the opportunity to recover, he made a commitment to afford others the same chance. He has since earned certifications as a Certified Addictions Counselor, and a Nationally Certified Drug and Alcohol Interventionist, and has helped hundreds of alcoholics and addicts as well as their families on the road to recovery.
